The office of U.S. Representative John Carter (R-Texas) in Georgetown, Texas, was the scene of an act of vandalism that involved splashing a red liquid on the front door of his office and spray-painting the words “Free Gaza” on the ground.

Carter, a staunch supporter of Israel, denounced the actions of what he called “unhinged anti-Israel activists.”

“Unhinged anti-Israel activists vandalized my Georgetown office. Let me make 2 things clear, my support for Israel is unwavering & your intimidation won’t work. Secondly, the parties responsible will be found & will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. #StandWithIsrael,” said Carter on X.

This incident occurred just days after Carter voted in favor of the Israel Security Supplemental Appropriations Act, 2024.

Florida Rep. Byron Donalds blasted the vandalism on X, saying, “These leftist intimidation tactics are DISGUSTING and WRONG. I stand with @JudgeCarter and I stand with our ally Israel.”

Rep. John Carter has been a vocal advocate for Israel throughout his political career. His support for the country has remained steadfast, as evidenced by his vote in favor of the Israel Security Supplemental Appropriations Act, 2024.

This bill, which has passed the House and is now headed to the Senate, aims to provide $26.38 billion in aid to Israel. It also includes provisions to expand the President’s authority to transfer defense articles and services to foreign countries or international organizations.
