Analysis Shows President Biden Spent Nearly 40% Of 2022 On Vacation

As we enter 2023, Americans have a serious question before them: Is it better if President Joe Biden is on the job or on vacation? Can we really tell the difference?

As we enter 2023, Americans have a serious question before them: Is it better if President Joe Biden is on the job or on vacation? Can we really tell the difference?

By most measures, the country is in rough shape.

The southern border is practically nonexistent.

Components of the national economy are the worst they’ve been in years, if not decades, and we seem dead set for a recession.

Trust in our political, civic, educational, and corporate institutions is running near all-time lows, except for the U.S. military.

A recent poll found that about one-fifth of Americans see people from the opposing political party as their and the country’s “enemy.”

And as this breakdown occurs, where is Joe Biden, the wise old sage who spent most of his adult life in government and was elected in 2020 to be a uniter and to restore decency and competence to the government?

Likely on vacation. Literally.

The Daily Caller on Sunday reported that Biden spent almost 40% of his time in 2022 on vacation.

The conservative website’s analysis of Biden’s 2022 public schedule indicates that the president spent 92 full or partial days at one of his Delaware homes and another 32 full or partial days at Camp David, the presidential retreat site.

He also spent a week on vacation in South Carolina, another five days on holiday in Nantucket, and five days in the U.S. Virgin Islands — where most recently, the U.S. government flew the massive 4,155-page government spending bill so Biden would not have to be inconvenienced by returning to the White House to actually do his job.

In all, Biden’s amount of “getaway days” totaled 141, or 38.6% of his first full calendar year in office.

This raises an obvious question: If things are this bad if Biden is off 40% of the time, how awful would our national condition be if he actually worked more?

The Daily Caller noted that Biden as of mid-October, had already surpassed former President Donald Trump in “getaway days” — and he still has two years to go.

Here’s one other perk Biden has taken advantage of in addition to the time off.

He doesn’t pay for anything.

He owns his homes in Delaware, the taxpayers own Camp David, and Biden stayed, apparently for free, at the vacation homes of wealthy liberal donors on his trips to South Carolina, Nantucket, and the Virgin Islands.
