TAMPA, Fla. – American Airlines Pilot, Captain John Berry Jr, retires and celebrates his 65th birthday in Tampa, FL with a custom airplane cake from The Cake Girl.
“This 100% edible cake (except the lights on the runway) is made from scratch out of fondant right here in Tampa, FL,” said Kristina Lavallee, “There were no expenses spared on this custom plane cake, from the realistic jets, landing gears, and wings, every part on this plane was sculpted by hand.”
Past cakes, have included helicopters, cars, bottles, and much more. This airplane cake was a collaboration with The Cake Girl and Awesome Edible Art.
The Cake Girl is a certified minority and women-owned business in Carrollwood operated by a husband and wife team. Kristina Lavallee, AKA “The Cake Girl”, celebrated her first year since opening her first brick and mortar store this year during the pandemic.
