WALTON COUNTY, Fla. – A vehicle stolen from Florala, Alabama, was intercepted by Walton County deputies on Thursday after a FLOCK hit from Okaloosa County alerted them.

Rachel Lynn Travis, 31, of DeFuniak Springs, was apprehended and transported to the Walton County Jail.

The pursuit began at the base of the Clyde B. Wells Bridge in the southbound lanes and concluded on the south side of Highway 98 near JD Miller Road after a successful pit maneuver.

One eastbound lane of Highway 98 was temporarily blocked following the pursuit.
