Alabama Man Takes Florida Deputies On Wild Ride In Stolen Truck

A red pickup truck, freshly “borrowed” from an Okaloosa County, Florida, job site, decided to take a scenic tour of Florida’s Highway 331. Unfortunately for the driver, Jeremy Robert Holland, 27, of Dothan, Alabama, the Walton County Sheriff’s Office wasn’t too keen on impromptu sightseeing tours.

After a thrilling chase last Thursday that involved some impressive spike strip dodging, Holland’s joyride came to a screeching halt just north of Jolly Bay Road.

It turns out that driving with a suspended license and a penchant for reckless driving doesn’t make for a smooth getaway.

Now, Holland’s facing a laundry list of charges, including resisting arrest, battery of an officer, and aggravated fleeing.

And let’s not forget those pesky felony charges waiting for him back in Okaloosa County. It looks like his Florida vacation just got a whole lot longer.
