Charles Green Hall, a 33-year-old resident of Montgomery, Alabama, has been sentenced to 30 years in federal prison for his involvement in a methamphetamine distribution conspiracy.
The sentence, handed down on August 27, 2024, also includes five years of supervised release.
The case originated in March 2021 when federal agents launched an investigation into suspected drug and gang activity in Montgomery. The investigation uncovered evidence of illegal narcotics being shipped from California to Alabama.

Working with postal inspectors, agents intercepted two packages addressed to Hall, each containing approximately two kilograms of nearly pure methamphetamine.
Hall pleaded guilty to conspiracy charges in May 2024, admitting his involvement in the distribution and possession of methamphetamine. A former postal employee, Amber Lashawne Sellers, has also been indicted for her alleged role in the conspiracy and awaits trial in September.

The successful investigation and prosecution were a collaborative effort involving the United States Postal Inspection Service, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and the Montgomery Police Department.
