In an interview with Fox News’s Sean Hannity on Monday, Attorney General Pam Bondi delivered a forceful message demanding transparency and accountability from the FBI regarding the Jeffrey Epstein files.

Bondi stated that she had given the FBI a strict deadline of Friday at 8 A.M. to release all remaining documents related to Epstein, which have been stored in the Southern District of New York.

“The FBI handed over a couple hundred pages of documents, but we know there’s a truckload more that should have been disclosed. I gave them a deadline—Friday at 8 A.M.—to turn over everything, including all the cash evidence we’re now reviewing,” Bondi said during the interview.

She asserted that the newly received documents represented only a portion of what’s available, adding that a whistleblower confirmed there were far more pages yet to be released. She now has all of the documents.

Bondi explained that the FBI’s failure to release the complete set of Epstein files not only undermines public trust but also obstructs justice for Epstein’s numerous victims.

“It’s an egregious violation of trust when critical evidence is withheld from the American people,” she stressed. Bondi promised that Director Kash Patel would soon deliver a detailed report explaining why the FBI withheld these documents, a move she hailed as a necessary step toward restoring transparency in federal investigations.

Addressing concerns over redactions, Bondi clarified that while some national security information and grand jury material might be redacted, the victim names and identifying details would be clearly marked and justified. “The American people have a right to know,” Bondi said. “We’re not going to pull pages out arbitrarily. If something’s redacted, you will know why.”

During the interview, Bondi also took the opportunity to reflect on broader issues of politicization and transparency within federal law enforcement.

“For years, we’ve seen information being weaponized, from the JFK files to issues surrounding recent investigations,” she remarked. “This is a new day. The truth will come out, and the American people deserve nothing less than complete honesty.”
