TAMPA, Fla. – Is Tom Brady done playing football for the Bucs? Has Brady played his final snap in the NFL?

After being destroyed by the Cowboys, Bucs QB Tom Brady took time to thank the Bucs organization, his supporters, and the media.

“I just want to say thank you guys (media) for everything this year,” Brady said. “I appreciate all you guys do to cover us and everyone who watches us and is a big fan of the sport, we’re very grateful for everyone’s support.”

Dallas beat Tampa Bay 31-14 at Raymond James Stadium in the NFC Super Wild Card game. Cowboys QB Dak Prescott threw four touchdown passes and ran for another score.

Brady and the Bucs had one of their worst games of the year. The 7-time Super Bowl champion was 35 of 66 for 351 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception.

“You always want every year to end great. Unfortunately, in sports, it doesn’t work that way. There are 32 teams in the league, and they’re all very competitive. Only one of them is going to really feel good at the end of the year.”

The Cowboys will head to San Francisco to take on the 49ers in the NFC divisional round while the Bucs contemplate trying to reload for next season with or without Brady. Brady, if he wants to play next season, is set to become a free agent.

“Hopefully, I love this organization; it’s a great place to be,” Brady said. Thank you, everybody, for welcoming me, all you regulars. Just very grateful for the respect and hope I gave the same thing back to you guys, so thank you very much. Appreciate it.”

Sure sounded like a goodbye to Tampa Bay.
