WESLEY CHAPEL, Fla. – AdventHealth and Pasco County today celebrated the groundbreaking of a new off-site Emergency Room (ER) in Meadow Pointe. Strategically located between AdventHealth Wesley Chapel and AdventHealth Zephyrhills at 5170 Chapel Commerce Drive, Wesley Chapel, FL 33543.
This state-of-the-art facility will provide convenient emergency care to the rapidly growing community.
The more than 13,000-square-foot ER will feature 12 patient beds, two triage rooms, and comprehensive imaging and lab services.

This $26 million project is expected to be completed in the first half of 2025 and will create over 30 new jobs in the Pasco County community.
“Pasco County is growing quickly, and we want to make sure we’re meeting the needs of our community,” said Mike Murrill, president and CEO of AdventHealth Zephyrhills, AdventHealth Dade City and AdventHealth Connerton. “We are committed to expanding our footprint of emergency care services and making it easy for our neighbors to access AdventHealth’s robust network of care.”
The AdventHealth Meadow Pointe ER joins the organization’s eight other freestanding emergency rooms across the Tampa Bay Area. This also includes an extensive and dedicated EMS fleet with 21 ambulances and AdventHealth AirStar 1, a medical helicopter dedicated to critical patient transport across the Tampa Bay region.
“I’m excited to see this built,” said Ryan Guynn, Assistant Fire Chief of Pasco County Fire Rescue. “Without a facility to bring our sick and injured to, fire rescue is useless so this facility is going to provide us with another place where we can get our Pasco County citizens timely, professional health care.”
AdventHealth West Florida Division leaders, government officials, including Rep. Randy Maggard and Pasco County Commissioner Seth Weightman, and Robins & Morton construction came together this morning to celebrate the new development.
“The groundbreaking of AdventHealth Meadow Pointe ER also celebrates our long-term partnership with AdventHealth,” Robins & Morton Division Manager Todd Watson said. “Our work at this facility will reflect our commitment to enhancing both patient and healthcare worker experiences through thoughtful, efficient, and quality-driven construction.”
