PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. – A close call crash on the Skyway Bridge Monday night left an SUV on the edge.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, two vehicles were traveling southbound in the outside lane approaching the construction zone on the Skyway Bridge.
An SUV was stopped for merging traffic due to the left lane construction closure and a car failed to stop. Colliding with the rear of the vehicle, the SUV was propelled and onto the outside barrier wall of the bridge.
Troopers say that there were no injuries in this crash.
