PASCO COUNTY, FL. – A 25-year-old Land O’ Lakes woman died after a crash that happened in San Antonio overnight.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, two cars were traveling westbound on SR-52, approximately 1200 feet east of Priory Circle.
Troopers say the Land O’ Lakes woman tried to overtake the car in front of her and collided with the rear of the vehicle. After the impact, her car was redirected to the grass shoulder and colliding with a concrete culvert.
The second vehicle came to a controlled stop according to FHP.
The Land O’ Lakes woman was transported to an area hospital but later died from injuries suffered during the crash.
