USDA Implements Measures to Help Rural Residents, Businesses, Communities Affected by COVID-19

HILLSBOROUGH, PASCO – U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development has taken a number of actions to help rural residents, businesses, and communities impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.  Information on Rural Development loan payment assistance, application deadline extensions, and other topics are available at www.rd.usda.gov/coronavirus.

Opportunities for immediate borrower relief include single-and multi-family housing, community facilities, as well as Rural Utilities Service and Rural Business-Cooperative Service.  USDA is also extending or opening new application windows for select programs under the Rural Business-Cooperative Service and Rural Utilities Service.
