“The FBI is seeking information and digital media depicting individuals inciting violence during First Amendment protected peaceful demonstrations,” the FBI wrote on its Twitter account.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation is seeking information from members of the public who have witnessed unlawful acts committed during the nation’s George Floyd protests. There are two ways to make contact with the FBI: call 800-CALL-FBI (800-225-5324) or go to fbi.gov/violence. According to its website, “The FBI is the primary federal agency responsible for investigating allegations regarding violations of federal civil rights statutes.”
