Wesley Chapel Community Helps Assistant Principal After House Fire Takes Everything

WESLEY CHAPEL, Fla. – Andressa Mira, the Assistant Principal at T.E. Weightman Middle School in Wesley Chapel, lost everything in a house fire and the community is coming together to help.

“Firefighters responded to the 32500 Block of Greenwood Loop in Wesley Chapel. Firefighters arrived at heavy smoke and fire coming through the roof of the home. The American Red Cross was called to assist the 6 residents that were displaced from the home, ” said Pasco Fire Rescue said in a statement,

The community has come together to help her and her family during this difficult time through a GoFundMe.

“The Mira’s are a wonderful family who would do anything for anyone. Now it’s our turn to do the same for them!” said the campaign organizer on the GoFundMe page.

“Andressa was always an amazing woman, with no problem saying the truth to your face when you needed it. I hope everything works out for her,” said Caylee Gonzalez on the fundraising page.

In just one day over 200 people have donated raising more than $14,000 to support the Mira family.
