26-Year-Old New Port Richey Man Killed in Motorcycle Crash Monday

HUDSON, Fla. – A 26-year-old New Port Richey man was killed Monday evening in a crash that happened around 6:50 PM Monday.

According to Florida Highway Patrol, the man was traveling westbound on SR-52, passing between vehicles while approaching the Chenwood Avenue. A pickup truck, driven by a 74-year-old Hudson man, was traveling southbound on Chenwood Avenue.

At the intersection, the motorcycle collided with the pickup truck.

Troopers say the New Port Richey Man was wearing a helmet, but died at the scene, from injuries sustained in the crash.
