Florida Man, KFC Customer Stabs Man In The Head Who Was Begging For Food

A man was beaten and stabbed in the head, according to Police, at a Florida KFC after he asked a customer to share his food.

According to the arrest report, the victim approached Branden Dion Pearson, 27, of Ft. Lauderdale, at the restaurant on Wednesday around noon and asked for some food, and Pearson began to insult the man.

Deputies say the two men started to ‘insult’ each other inside of the KFC and were reportedly were hitting each other near the entrance.

According to investigators, an employee got between the two men in an attempt to break up the altercation. Once outside, the man that was asking for food, picked up some rocks and threw them at Pearson who rushed around the employee and knocked the man to the ground.

According to the arrest report, when the victim tried to kick him, Pearson got on top of him, pulled out a knife, and stabbed the victim in the head.

Pearson then went back inside the restaurant and waited for police to arrive, and admitted to law enforcement, that he stabbed the victim in the head, because he threw rocks at him.

Pearson was charged with one count of attempted murder and is being held in the Broward County Jail on a $50,000 bond, according to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.
