Citrus County DOH Offers Makeup Date for Residents Who Missed Second Dose COVID Vaccine

CITRUS COUNTY, Fla.=The Florida Department of Health in Citrus County (DOH-Citrus) will be offering second doses of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine to individuals 65 years and older.

Also included are frontline health care workers who are seven days past due for their second dose at a drive-thru clinic from 10 a.m. to noon, or until the capacity of 200 is reached, on Wednesday, March 3, at the Central Ridge District Park, 6905 N. Lecanto Hwy in Beverly Hills.

In order to receive a second dose, individuals must bring the COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card they received at the time of their first dose.

Each individual must sign and complete the Department of Health COVID-19 Vaccine Screening and Consent prior to arriving to the site.

Consent forms are available on the DOH-Citrus website at http://citrus.floridahealth.gov/programs-and-services/infectious-disease-services/COVID19InfoCitrusCounty or you can visit any Citrus County library to pick up or print the form at no cost.

If individuals do not have their COVID-19 Vaccination Record and/or the date listed on the back is not seven days past due, they will be turned away and not provided a second dose.
