SAINT PETERSBURG, Fla. – A 36-year-old St. Pete man was killed after his car flipped off the I-375 exit ramp Sunday around 4:00 PM.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, the man was traveling at a high rate of speed on a wet exit ramp of I-275 leading to I-375.
Troopers say the man lost control of the car and collided with the concrete barrier wall.
The car overturned, flipped over the wall, fell to the St. Petersburg utility vehicles parking lot below, and crashed into four unoccupied utility vehicles.
FHP says the man suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash.
