Farm Share Food Distribution is partnering with Pasco County Commission Chairman Mike Moore and State Representative Randy Maggard for a free food distribution event on May 20th at The Shops at Wiregrass.
The event begins at 9 a.m. and will continue “while supplies last.” Participants are directed to Lot C off of Bruce B. Downs Boulevard north entrance near JC Penney. They are advised to stay in their vehicles and have their trunks open for receipt of food items.
Farm Share is a not-for-profit organization formed in 1991 that is committed to making sure that food-insecure Floridians receive the food and support they need. The organization partners with a broad range of food pantries, churches, schools, and other non-profits throughout the Sunshine State, as well as hundreds of Florida farmers who donate millions of pounds of fruits and vegetables each year.
