Pasco Deadly Crash Hit and Run

Suspect Identified, Car Located in Deadly Christmas Hit and Run in Pasco County

NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. –Florida Highway Patrol is seeking the publics’ help with information on a Christmas hit and run in Pasco County.

FHP Troopers continue to investigate the Christmas evening fatal crash on US-19 near Manor Drive.  Troopers have located evidence that the suspect vehicle was last seen fleeing northbound on Thys Road, as evidence by the photos secured from a local gas station, which can be viewed below.

The suspect vehicle, the Audi A6, was located abandoned this afternoon at a parking lot on Barker Drive at Grey Street in Elfers with damage consistent with a pedestrian traffic crash.

Troopers have also identified a person of interest regarding this case, MORAN DERRAILL BROWN, Jr. (Male, DOB: 11/01/1992), who has active warrants for his arrests which include: VIOLATION OF PROBATI0N – FLEEING AND ELUDING, POSSESSION OF COCAINE, and DRIVING WHILE LICENSE REVOKED.
