As the country moves further into a panic over financial struggle and a heightened awareness of stress due to COVID-19, some states and their governing officials have taken draconian measures to keep, what they believe, is a sense of order. But, at what cost? The steep price being paid is equivalent to American rights and freedom.
Citizens of America have committed no crime or wrongdoing by the Constitution of the United States. Yet, in many states and even in some large cities, they are being made to feel like criminals. Their only ‘crimes’ have been to attempt a somewhat normal existence where they aren’t barricaded in their homes like Communist China, aren’t forced to wear face coverings because they are mandated to do so, and where they are able to roam about freely as God intended for each and every law-abiding citizen of this planet.
It’s almost as if the Constitution and its contents have been ripped to shreds, much like Nancy Pelosi tore the President’s State of the Union speech to shreds in front of millions of viewers – which, as a side note, was illegal.
Governor Whitmer of Michigan
Let’s take, for example, Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer. She has a long and prominent background, one where she knows fully the implications in which she is inflicting upon Michiganders. Having been a Prosecutor, Lawyer, State Rep, and Educator, and now Governor, she knows very well what’s contained within the Constitution, and additionally, what is unconstitutional.
She took it upon herself in April, however, to make her own list of what she deems ‘essential’, citing a list of what people can and cannot buy – American flags and Garden seeds deemed as non-essential and roped off – inciting anger, fear, and rage amongst not only residents of Michigan, but around the world.
People began to revolt, and even organized protests as they lined up in their vehicles, surrounding the Capitol building and eventually storming the building, armed to the gills and exercising their 2nd Amendment Rights while police in bulletproof vests stood by. Michigan’s Civil Liberties Coalition states, “Governor Whitmer’s executive order is a restriction on free movement and assembly.”
Mayor Lori Lightfoot of Chicago, IL
Another example of tyranny happened this past week in Chicago, on May 2nd, as Mayor Lori Lightfoot, deemed ‘Beetlejuice’ by those on social media, took to a Press Conference in public – without a mask— to announce, “We will take you to jail,” if people are to violate the city’s Stay-At-Home order. The video made waves across the United States, viewers simply baffled by the statements made by this obviously power-hungry, pro-socialist City leader. “We will shut you down, we will cite you, and if we have to, we will arrest you,” stated Lightfoot. “Don’t make us treat you like a criminal, but if you act like a criminal and you violate the law and refuse to do what’s necessary to save lives in the middle of a pandemic, we will take you to jail, period.”
Governor Gavin Newsom of California
Gavin Newsom has done a lot of things for the State of California during this pandemic, the majority of them negative yet worthy of attention. For starters, he commuted the sentence of 21 state prisoners and pardoned 5 more – some of them violent offenders – amid the virus outbreak. In addition, he has mandated strict Stay-At-Home orders while people scramble for money and struggle to make ends meet, while at the same time permanently losing jobs.
The people of California have spoken loud and clear. Peaceful protests are happening statewide and have been seen at Government buildings and on beaches and boardwalks. Sadly, many of these peaceful protesters are being arrested and detained by the same men in uniform who swore an oath to protect American citizens. This hasn’t worked well for Newsom, and he is now being forced to consider reopening portions of the state and lift the Stay-At-Home order in certain facets.
At what point is enough, enough?
Just a question for these Governors allowing prisoners to be set free amid this pandemic: do the people of America not have enough to worry about? Now they need to worry about potentially violent offenders breaking into their homes and robbing them blind, and potentially raping them or their family members – and possibly even being murdered?
This demonstration of Communism and it’s socialist policies has gone on long enough. We are Americans, and we don’t like it.
There is no doubt that the Coronavirus is real. COVID-19 is looking more and more like a man-made virus that escaped from the Wuhan Institute of Virology lab. President Trump has made numerous statements about the evidence that was presented to him by officials, stating this seems to be the case.
But is COVID-19 being used as a means to instill fear, inflict undue punishment, saturate the American people with a false doctrine about how deadly the virus is – while it has a less than 1% chance of death – and exert control by those who swore to protect their constituents?
In some states, it was predicted there would be a massive uptick in diagnosed cases, as well as a 93% overall death rate, according to the CDC. That was the prediction for Florida.
Although Florida has had 36,942 positive cases thus far, according to the Florida Department of Health, with 1,471 deaths statewide as of May 5, 2020, that is nowhere near the 93% death rate that was expected – or at least advertised, by the Center for Disease Control.
Why then are people so terrified? The answer is clear: MSM. Mainstream media has been pushing the fear over this virus since it began in Wuhan, warning us all how this would be the death of all of us, pushing us all to wear masks and face coverings, and enforcing ridiculous stipulations that we should all stay indoors.
The President made it clear time and time again that the Sunshine is good for you, and that people should at least get outside. As a matter of fact, a study was done by the US Department of Defence in their Bio-Weapons lab that proves UV light, such as that from the sun, can annihilate the virus – rendering it defenseless against good old fashioned sunlight.
In Florida, Governor Ron DeSantis has been on a fast track to re-open the state under the direction of President Trump as quickly, yet effectively, as possible – all while keeping our most vulnerable residents in mind. States DeSantis in a recent press conference, “Fear is our biggest enemy.”
He refuses to fine residents for leaving home and not wearing a mask, leaving it up to each individual to make their own mind up as to whether or not we would like to wear one. If the President says he won’t wear one, should the rest of us have to?
DeSantis has now moved to re-open beaches, parks, and many restaurants, enabling people to begin getting back to somewhat normalcy.
People want their freedoms back. They want their ‘old’ lives back. Though it will take time for us to find ‘normal’ once again, getting things moving in a more positive direction where we, as Americans, are allowed the simple freedoms afforded to us in the US Constitution – which is applicable to every person, of every race, of every sexuality, in every state in the United States.
If some of these Governors would simply take a look at how we are doing things in Florida, realize we have one of the most vulnerable populations in the country, yet are doing exceptionally well under the circumstances, and let go of their power trips long enough to realize their residents are hurting and feel incredibly oppressed, maybe change could take place.
Those in power should never abuse that power for personal gain. Whatever is happening in America right now is of no fault of the American public. The people have done no wrong. Therefore, no American should be treated like a prisoner. A convict. Inhuman.
Restore the rights and liberty of America before it’s too late. Tyranny has no place in the United States. Not in Michigan, not in Illinois, not in California, not in New York, and not anywhere else. We are a strong people; strong-willed and strong in spirit. We have seen the uprising of civilians and civil unrest.
Stop the madness before it’s too late. America needs to be re-opened for more reasons than it should ever stay closed. Enough is enough.

Great Article and those governors are only keeping states closed to get more money from federal government! I really hope the citizen od that state sue the state!!!!
