SAINT PETERSBURG, Fla. – The St. Petersburg Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting early Sunday morning, that claimed the life of a young mother. Detectives say a crowd had gathered in the 1600 block of 16th St., and they believe an argument between two people led to shots being fired in front of the Dread Pros & More salon around 1:30 am.
The female victim who was pronounced dead at Bayfront Health St. Petersburg has been identified as 23- year-old Arnieceia Milton.
Investigators believe the mother of two was an innocent bystander and was not involved in the argument.
“We are appealing to everyone who was present and/or witnessed the shooting, to please come forward and help bring justice to those responsible for the shooting,” St. Pete Police said in a statement.
