SARASOTA COUNTY, Fla. – The Florida Lottery today announced that Gail Riola, 67, of North Port, is the latest Floridian to become a millionaire after claiming a $1 million prize in the popular 500X THE CASH Scratch-Off game.
Riola collected her winnings at the Lottery’s Orlando District Office, opting for a one-time, lump-sum payment of $640,000.00.
Riola purchased her lucky ticket at the Circle K located at 41 Tamiami Trail in Port Charlotte. The retailer will also benefit from Riola’s good fortune, receiving a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.

The $ 50,500X THE CASH Scratch-Off game has proven to be a hit with players, boasting the largest top prize ever offered on a Florida Scratch-Off game – a staggering $25 million – and the best odds of becoming an instant millionaire.
