Dreams became reality for a Florida man, as he claimed a life-changing $1 million top prize from the Florida Lottery’s DOUBLE YOUR MONEY Scratch-Off game. Lottery officials announced today that Ramon Torres, 69, of Bradenton, visited Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee to collect his winnings.
Torres opted to receive his prize as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $605,016.40.
His winning ticket was purchased at Cottage Mini Mart, located at 6123 26th Street W. in Bradenton. The lucky retailer will also receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.

The DOUBLE YOUR MONEY Scratch-Off game is a popular $5 offering from the Florida Lottery, boasting over $51.8 million in total cash prizes, including four top prizes of $1 million. Players have a 1-in-5.67 overall chance of winning in this exciting game.
