The Florida Lottery today announced that Hector Anaya Jr., 27, of Homestead, has claimed a significant $1 million prize from the popular $1,000,000 A YEAR FOR LIFE SPECTACULAR Scratch-Off game. Anaya opted to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $640,000.00.
Anaya purchased his lucky ticket at the RaceTrac located at 3310 N.E. Eighth Street in Homestead. The retailer will also benefit from Anaya’s win, receiving a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.

The $50, $1,000,000 A YEAR FOR LIFE SPECTACULAR game boasts two top prizes of $1 million a year for life, along with an impressive 234 prizes of $1 million.
The game is also packed with over $1.6 billion in total cash prizes and offers players overall odds of winning at 1 in 4.5.
Scratch-off games continue to be a major driver for the Florida Lottery, accounting for approximately 74% of ticket sales in the fiscal year 2023-2024.
