TAMPA, Fla. – Starting at 9 AM today, April 8, 2025, the outside eastbound lane of West Sligh Avenue will be closed between Shirleys Walk Way and North Habana Avenue. This closure is due to the Tampa Water Department returning to the area to complete a more permanent restoration following earlier work to repair a water main break.

Traffic in the area will be affected by the lane closure. Barricades and signs will be in place to guide traffic flow. Drivers are advised to exercise caution while traveling in the area.
