TAMPA, Fla. – A detached garage and two vehicles were consumed by fire on the 2900 block of W. Wallcraft Avenue, drawing Tampa Fire Rescue (TFR) to the scene at 6:12 PM on Monday.
Upon arrival, first responding crews found a single-story detached garage structure and two vehicles heavily engulfed in flames. Multiple 9-1-1 callers reported that all residents had safely evacuated the structure before firefighters arrived.
Firefighters used several hose lines to extinguish the fire from the exterior of the home. The fire was brought under control in approximately 15 minutes.

Crews performed a primary and secondary search of the structure and confirmed that no residents were inside.
During firefighting operations, one Tampa Firefighter sustained a minor injury and was transported to a local hospital for further evaluation. There were no other reported injuries to civilians or firefighters.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by Tampa Fire Marshal investigators.
