TAMPA, Fla. – The Tampa Police Department has arrested 37-year-old Kasey Pellage in connection with peeping into the windows of a home near S. Lois Ave. and W. San Miguel St. in late March.

“The swift identification and apprehension of this suspect is a direct result of the diligent work of our officers, the vigilance of our community, and the crucial role of media in disseminating information,” said Chief Lee Bercaw. “We are grateful these partnerships proved to be instrumental in bringing this individual to justice and providing a restored sense of security to the victim.”

The investigation began after a resident reported seeing an unknown male looking through her home’s windows, causing her significant distress. Video surveillance captured the suspect, later identified as Pellage, on her property on March 29th and March 30th, approaching the residence and looking into the windows.

Detectives gathered evidence, developed leads, and sought the public’s help in identifying the suspect through social media and local news outlets.

On April 4th, an anonymous tip led detectives to Pellage as a potential match for the individual seen in the video.

On April 6th, just after 8:30 pm, Pellage was observed loitering near a construction site in the 4100 block of Henderson Blvd during an unrelated police investigation. He was apprehended but refused to identify himself. He was eventually identified and charged with two counts of Resisting Officer Without Violence and taken to Orient Road Jail.

On April 7th, further investigation resulted in detectives positively identifying Pellage as the suspect in the late March peeping incident.
