BRADENTON, Fla. – U.S. District Judge Mary S. Scriven has sentenced Jimmy Altidor, 42, of Bradenton, to 15 years in federal prison for possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine. Altidor had pleaded guilty to the charge on January 16, 2025.
According to court documents, the case against Altidor involved events in early March 2023. At that time, Altidor discussed the price of methamphetamine with a confidential source (CS) and offered to sell the CS a pound of the drug.

Following several days of communication to arrange the deal, the CS traveled to Altidor’s workplace in Bradenton on March 8, 2023. Altidor approached the CS’s vehicle and sold the CS a pound of methamphetamine.
The court documents also note that Altidor has a prior federal conviction for possession with intent to distribute cocaine base.

The investigation into this case was conducted by the Drug Enforcement Administration, the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office, the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office, the Bradenton Police Department, and the Sarasota Police Department. Assistant United States Attorney Michael R. Kenneth prosecuted the case.
