HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) is investigating a shooting incident that occurred on Interstate 4 (I-4) early Sunday morning, April 6, 2025.
According to the FHP report, at approximately 2:28 AM, a 34-year-old St. Petersburg man was driving a Honda CR-V westbound on I-4, west of I-275. The driver observed several motorcyclists operating their vehicles erratically, accompanied by another unidentified vehicle.
The driver of the Honda CR-V began recording the motorcyclists with a cell phone when one of the motorcyclists, who was then traveling alongside the victim’s vehicle, discharged a handgun, firing several rounds.

Multiple rounds struck the Honda CR-V, but the driver was not injured.
The suspected shooter is described as a white male with a medium build, wearing a jacket with an “Outlaws MC” logo.
The FHP is asking anyone who may have information about this incident to contact them by calling *FHP (*347) or to provide anonymous tips by calling Crime Stoppers at **TIPS.
