PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. – A 32-year-old Clearwater man died after being struck by a vehicle while attempting to walk across Interstate 275 on Friday.
According to reports, at approximately 3:41 PM, a Toyota Prius, driven by a 21-year-old woman from Dandridge, Tennessee, was traveling southbound on I-275. North of 22nd Avenue South, the Clearwater man entered the path of the vehicle while attempting to cross the interstate and was struck.

The pedestrian was transported to a local area hospital but later died from injuries sustained in the crash.
Further details regarding the incident were not immediately available.
