PORT RICHEY, Fla. – Jamal Broomfield has been located and is safe, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
ORIGINAL REPORT: A Florida Missing Child Alert has been activated for Jamal Broomfield, a 16-year-old black male, who was last seen in Port Richey. Authorities are urging the public to be vigilant and report any sightings.
Jamal Broomfield is described as being 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing approximately 130 pounds, with black hair and black eyes. He has dreadlocks and a mustache. At the time he was last seen, he was wearing a black shirt and black gym shorts.

He was last seen in the vicinity of the 7800th block of Tortuga Bay Boulevard in Port Richey, Florida.
Authorities believe Jamal may be traveling in a 2014 black Ford Fusion with Florida license plate number 44BXMZ. The vehicle is reported to have front-end damage.
The Port Richey Police Department is urging the public to exercise caution. If Jamal is located, individuals are advised NOT to approach him and to immediately contact law enforcement.
