HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) has announced the arrest of a convicted felon for possession of a firearm.

According to the HCSO, detectives identified Emmitt Wilson, 31, a six-time convicted felon and documented member of the No Hesitation Committee gang, as being in possession of a firearm.

On March 28, 2025, detectives obtained a court-authorized search warrant for Wilson’s residence. The warrant led to the recovery of a firearm, and Wilson was subsequently arrested.

Wilson has been charged with Felon in Possession of a Firearm and Felon in Possession of Ammunition.

“This is exactly the kind of dangerous individual we work tirelessly to keep off our streets,” said Sheriff Chad Chronister. “Convicted felons have no business possessing firearms, and we will continue to do everything in our power to hold them accountable.”
