According to court documents, on October 1, 2024, Aheran stole over 1,000 pieces of mail from a U.S. Postal Service mailbox in Orlando. He was subsequently arrested on October 25, 2024, in connection with this mail theft.

During his arrest, law enforcement officers observed Aheran carrying a black bag. A search of the bag revealed a loaded firearm, cash, mail belonging to other individuals, and a debit card in Aheran’s name.

Aheran’s criminal history includes multiple prior felony convictions, such as burglary of a conveyance, possession of more than 20 grams of cannabis, and prior possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. These prior convictions prohibited him from legally possessing a firearm or ammunition under federal law.
