Senator Burgess’ Zephyrhills Office Vandalized; Police Seek Suspect

ZEPHYRHILLS, Fla. – The Zephyrhills Police Department is investigating an act of vandalism that targeted the local office of State Senator Danny Burgess. The incident occurred at the senator’s office, located at 38507 5th Avenue, Zephyrhills.

According to police reports, on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at approximately 2:45 a.m., an unidentified suspect driving a dark-colored small SUV pulled up to the office on 5th Avenue. The suspect then threw a beer bottle from the vehicle’s window, which struck the front of the building and shattered a window. The suspect immediately fled the scene, heading westbound on 5th Avenue.

The vandalism was reported to the Zephyrhills Police Department on Friday, March 21, 2025, at approximately 10:45 a.m., prompting an investigation.

The Zephyrhills Police Department is actively seeking information from the public to help identify the suspect involved in this incident.
