Under President Donald Trump’s administration, the FBI has swiftly taken down some of America’s most notorious fugitives, capturing three of the agency’s Ten Most Wanted criminals since Trump took office on January 20.

FBI Director Kash Patel announced the latest arrest earlier this week, celebrating the administration’s tough-on-crime approach.

“The FBI and Attorney General Pam Bondi have captured our third fugitive on the Ten Most Wanted list since January 20, 2025,” Patel posted. “That’s not an accident. When you let good cops be good cops, this is what happens.”

Patel credited President Trump’s administration for providing the FBI and the Department of Justice the resources needed to aggressively pursue criminals.

“This administration is giving the new FBI and AG Bondi the resources to get the job done — and we won’t stop,” Patel added.

For comparison, only four fugitives on the FBI’s Most Wanted list were apprehended during Joe Biden’s entire four-year presidency. At this point in Biden’s first term, none of the fugitives on the list had been captured.

High-Profile Arrests Since January

The Trump administration’s aggressive push to track down and capture violent criminals has resulted in the arrests of:

1. Francisco Javier Román Bardales (Captured March 2025)

  • Notorious MS-13 gang leader from El Salvador, linked to violent crimes, drug trafficking, and extortion.
  • Captured by soldiers and federal agents in Veracruz, Mexico and deported to New York.
  • Facing charges including racketeering conspiracy, narco-terrorism, and alien smuggling.
  • Patel called his capture “a major victory for a safer America.”

2. Arnoldo Jimenez (Captured January 30, 2025)

  • Wanted for murdering his wife the day after their wedding in 2012.
  • Fled to Mexico to avoid prosecution.
  • Finally arrested after more than a decade on the run.

With three high-profile fugitives behind bars in just two months, Trump’s administration is making aggressive moves to bolster law enforcement efforts.

“When you let good agents be good agents, this is the result,” Patel declared on X Thursday. “And we’re just getting started.”
