Florida Silver Alert Canceled, Tampa Police Say Missing 70-Year-Old Man Located Safe

TAMPA, Fla. – Bobbie Young, 70, has been located and is safe, according to the Tampa Police Department.

PREVIOUS REPORT: The Tampa Police Department has issued a Silver Alert for 70-year-old Bobbie Young, who was reported missing on Tuesday, March 18th, 2025.

Young was last seen at approximately 11:30 a.m. near the 1800 block of E Seward St. He is described as a Black male, 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing approximately 160 pounds, and bald. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, gray shirt, gray pants, and a black Tampa Bay Buccaneers baseball cap.

Authorities believe Young may be traveling in a 2011 white Ford F150 with Florida license plate 80DRRY. He may be traveling westbound on U.S. 98.

Young is believed to suffer from dementia and may be in need of care. The Tampa Police Department is urging anyone with information about his whereabouts to come forward.
