POLK COUNTY, Fla. – An 18-year-old Davenport man, Colin Chad Chambers, was arrested early Friday morning after attempting to evade law enforcement. Chambers, referred to as “C3” by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO), was apprehended on outstanding felony warrants.
PCSO deputies initiated a search for Chambers after learning he had outstanding warrants for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Manufacturing Marijuana, and Felony Marijuana Possession. Deputies first went to Chambers’ residence in the Davenport Lakes neighborhood, but he was not present.

Investigators determined that Chambers was aware deputies were looking for him. However, Chambers was unaware that deputies had located his vehicle, which was parked in another neighborhood, and were conducting surveillance.
Deputies spotted Chambers just outside the Palms II neighborhood, and he was taken into custody after a brief struggle.

Chambers was arrested on his outstanding warrants and transported to the Polk County Jail. He was additionally charged with resisting arrest and possession of marijuana.
