POLK COUNTY, Fla. – A routine encounter with a Polk County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) deputy led to the arrest of 32-year-old Dylan Jarrett Norris on Thursday, March 13, 2025.

A PCSO deputy made contact with Norris in the area of Harbor Isle Boulevard and Cypress Gardens Road in Winter Haven. During the interaction, it was discovered that Norris had an outstanding felony warrant from Las Vegas, Nevada, for Possession of Identifications to Commit Forgery/Counterfeit.

Adding to his legal woes, deputies discovered that Norris was concealing two syringes in the “crack of his backside.” He also attempted to discard an illegal substance he was hiding.

Norris was arrested and transported to the Polk County Jail. He faces charges related to the out-of-state warrant, as well as possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and tampering with evidence.

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office, in a statement, humorously noted that Norris “won a stay at the world famous Grady Judd’s Bed & Breakfast. He’ll then have first class transportation for a wonderful getaway to Sin City!” This refers to the Polk County Jail and his pending extradition to Nevada.
