PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – A fatal head-on collision occurred on US-301 early Friday morning, claiming the life of a 24-year-old Dade City man.
The Florida Highway Patrol reports that a GMC Sierra, driven by a Dade City man, was traveling southbound in the northbound lanes of US-301 at approximately 4:51 a.m. on March 14, 2025.

A tractor-trailer, driven by a 41-year-old man from Haines City, was traveling northbound on US-301. South of Mickler Road, the two vehicles collided head-on.
The driver of the GMC Sierra sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene. The driver of the tractor-trailer suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
