Key Largo Man Arrested For $3,500 Fishing Rod Theft From Boat

KEY LARGO, Fla. – A 61-year-old Key Largo man has been arrested and charged with burglary and grand theft after stealing approximately $3,500 worth of fishing rods from a docked boat.

Felix Armando Gonzalez-Quevedo was taken into custody on Thursday after warrants were issued for his arrest.

According to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, Gonzalez-Quevedo burglarized a 29-foot center console boat at a Key Largo marina earlier this month. He allegedly stole seven fishing rods during the incident.

Gonzalez-Quevedo was booked into the Monroe County Jail.
