Pinellas Park Girl Arrested On Multiple Child Exploitation Charges

PINELLAS PARK, Fla. – A 16-year-old Pinellas Park girl, Paige Smiley, has been arrested on additional charges related to child exploitation, following a further investigation by the Pinellas Park Police Department.

Smiley was initially arrested on February 19, 2025, on five counts of possession of child pornography. Detectives subsequently discovered that she was transmitting explicit images, including self-generated content, through various social media platforms in exchange for electronic payments.

Further investigation uncovered additional evidence, leading to Smiley’s second arrest.

She now faces the following charges:

  • Sexual Battery (Victim under 12 years old)
  • Lewd & Lascivious Molestation (Victim under 12)
  • Lewd & Lascivious Exhibition (Victim under 12)
  • Attempted Lewd & Lascivious Molestation (Victim under 12)
  • Transmission of Child Pornography (2 counts)
  • Possession of Child Pornography (13 counts)

Pinellas Park Police Chief Adam Geissenberger emphasized the department’s commitment to protecting children.
