TAMPA, Fla. – A federal jury has found Milton Anthony Bradshaw, 44, of Tampa, guilty of possessing a firearm and ammunition as a convicted felon, announced Acting United States Attorney Sara C. Sweeney. Bradshaw now faces a maximum sentence of 15 years in federal prison. Sentencing is scheduled for June 3, 2025.

Evidence presented during the trial revealed that in the early morning hours of September 20, 2022, Bradshaw engaged in an argument with three unknown individuals at a Tampa apartment complex.

As the individuals walked towards their car, Bradshaw retrieved a firearm and hid behind a dumpster in the parking lot. He then proceeded to fire shots at the individuals as they drove away.

Responding deputies from the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office recovered a firearm that Bradshaw had left outside an apartment following the shooting.

Surveillance video captured the initial argument and the subsequent shooting, and DNA recovered from the firearm matched Bradshaw’s.
