CLEARWATER, Fla. – Get ready to unleash your inner superhero! The Clearwater Public Library System, in partnership with Clearwater Parks and Recreation, is bringing back its highly anticipated Comic Con for its ninth annual celebration.
The family-friendly event will take place on Friday, March 15th, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Countryside Recreation Center, located at 2640 Sabal Springs Drive in Clearwater.
A signature event for the Clearwater Public Library System, Comic Con offers a day packed with entertainment for all ages. Attendees are encouraged to don their best cosplay, whether it’s a beloved superhero, a notorious supervillain, or a character from any favorite fictional universe.
The event will feature a variety of attractions, including special guest appearances, a bustling vendor marketplace, delicious offerings from food trucks, talented artists showcasing their work, and engaging activities tailored for all ages.

- 10 a.m.: Opening Ceremonies
- 10:30 a.m.: Photo Opportunities
- 11 a.m.: Intro to Cosplay Panel Discussion
- Noon: Kids’ Costume Showcase
- 1 p.m.: Cosplay Belly Dance Performance by Lady Darjuxena
- 2 p.m.: Folklore in Fantasy Panel Discussion
- 3 p.m.: Lightsaber Demonstration with the Outer Rim Guilds
- 4 p.m.: Adult Cosplay Contest
