MONROE COUNTY, Fla. – A Big Pine Key resident has been recognized for her outstanding support of the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office and local law enforcement. Carole Svetin was recently honored by Sheriff Rick Ramsay on behalf of the Florida Sheriffs Association (FSA).

The FSA, a non-profit organization comprised of Florida’s elected sheriffs, business leaders, and citizens, aims to enhance law enforcement through education and charitable endeavors.
