President Donald Trump took the stage at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) on Saturday, engaging the crowd in a lively poll about his favorite nicknames for former President Joe Biden.
The audience enthusiastically weighed in as Trump posed the question: “What do we like better—‘Crooked Joe’ or ‘Sleepy Joe’?”
Trump revisited two of his most famous monikers for Biden. “With super relaxed, crooked Joe Biden—what do we like better, ‘Crooked Joe’ or ‘Sleepy Joe’?” Trump asked the crowd.

The audience responded with a mix of cheers for both names, but “Crooked Joe” seemed to edge out as the crowd favorite. Trump, however, couldn’t resist adding his own commentary.
“He was Sleepy Joe, but he was crooked as hell,” Trump quipped. “You know, there’s no question. He was a sleepy, crooked guy. Terrible, terrible president.”
Trump also took the opportunity to poke fun at Biden’s golf skills, recalling a debate moment where Biden claimed to be a six-handicap golfer.
“He challenged me during the debate to a golf match,” Trump said. “He said, ‘I’m a six handicap.’ Then he said, ‘Well, I’m an eight.’ I said, ‘That was quick—picked up two strokes!’”
But Trump conceded that Biden had one “amazing ability” he could never match. “He could fall asleep in front of the media,” Trump joked. “He’d walk in the sand, pulling one of those aluminum things that weigh about six ounces—meant for children and very old people to lift—and he’d immediately fall asleep. I could never do that. That’s the only thing I couldn’t do.”

Trump blasted Biden’s time in office, calling him “the worst president in the history of our country.” He even invoked the late Jimmy Carter, who passed away earlier this year. “Jimmy Carter passed away a happy man because he said it’s not even close—Joe was the worst,” Trump said.
The former president also highlighted the challenges he faces in cleaning up what he called Biden’s “mess.” “I’m cleaning up the mess, and it is a mess—on the border, with inflation, you name it,” Trump said. “Everything he touched turned to sh*t.”
The CPAC audience, a gathering of conservative activists and Trump loyalists, reveled in the former president’s remarks. The event, which has become a cornerstone of the conservative movement, showcased Trump’s influence within the Republican Party.
As Trump wrapped up his speech, he left the crowd with a final thought: “We’ve got a lot of work to do, but we’re going to make America greater than ever before.”
