The Florida Lottery announced a major milestone Thursday, revealing that it has transferred over $48 billion to the state’s Educational Enhancement Trust Fund since its inception in 1988. This achievement highlights the Lottery’s significant and ongoing contribution to funding educational initiatives across Florida.
The Lottery’s contributions support a wide range of programs aimed at improving student success and preparing Florida’s future workforce. These include funding for K-12 programs, school construction, technological enhancements, and scholarships for higher education.
