CLEARWATER, Fla. – A bicyclist was critically injured in a crash involving a vehicle in Clearwater early this morning. The Clearwater Police Department and Clearwater Fire & Rescue responded to the scene at the intersection of Keene Road and Cleveland Street at 6:38 a.m.
The bicyclist was transported to Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries.
As the investigation into the crash was underway, the following road closures were in effect:
- Southbound lanes of Keene Road at Cleveland Street (Now Opened)
- All lanes of Cleveland Street at Keene Road (Now Opened)
Motorists were advised to avoid the area and seek alternate routes.

The crash occurred near the intersection of Keene Road and Cleveland Street, south of Drew Street. Keene Road is closed in that area, and motorists are advised to avoid the area and seek alternate routes.
