The Department of Education has launched investigations into the California Interscholastic Federation and the Minnesota State High School League for their failure to comply with President Trump’s executive order protecting girls in sports. The order, which ensures fairness and safety in women’s athletics, has been a cornerstone of the administration’s efforts to uphold Title IX protections.
Additionally, the department has announced probes into five public universities over widespread anti-Semitic harassment on their campuses. These investigations aim to address violations of federal civil rights laws and ensure a safe environment for all students.
The Department of Justice (DOJ) has taken legal action against states and cities that refuse to comply with federal immigration laws. The DOJ has sued the State of New York and its top officials for their willful failure to cooperate with federal immigration enforcement.
Similar lawsuits have been filed against the State of Illinois and the City of Chicago over their so-called “sanctuary” policies, which the administration argues endanger public safety and undermine federal law.
