TAMPA, Fla. – The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office has arrested two suspects for burglarizing multiple apartment units, including two that were occupied at the time.
The burglaries occurred on February 5, 2025, at an apartment complex on the 14000 block of North 46th Street in Tampa. Deputies responded to the scene after receiving a call reporting the burglaries.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, the suspects entered multiple unlocked apartments, stealing gaming systems, clothing, and other miscellaneous items. Detectives identified the suspects as 16-year-old Shervin Safarkouhpayeh and 18-year-old Germery Glass. Both were arrested on February 6th and charged with five counts each of Burglary of an Occupied Dwelling.

“When someone violates your home by burglarizing it, it can be traumatizing,” said Sheriff Chad Chronster. “Everyone should be able to feel safe in their home. Thanks to our dedicated detectives, these suspects were quickly identified and arrested for their dangerous criminal behavior.”
The investigation is ongoing.
